Miami, FL \u2013 July 19, 2017\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Nominees for the 6th\u00a0edition of\u00a0Telemundo’s<\/strong>\u00a0“Premios\u00a0Tu\u00a0Mundo”\u00a0<\/strong>(Your World Awards), the only entertainment awards show on Spanish-language TV exclusively based on fan votes, were announced today during the network’s morning show\u00a0“Un Nuevo Dia.”<\/strong>\u00a0CNCO,<\/strong>\u00a0Carlos Ponce, Carolina Gaitan<\/strong>, and\u00a0David\u00a0Chocarro\u00a0<\/strong>topped the list of nominees. The complete list of nominees is available at\u00a0premiostumundo.com\/vota<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0starting today\u00a0fans can vote for their favorite\u00a0actors, musical artists, TV personalities, fan clubs and influencers\u00a0<\/strong>within 20 categories.\u00a0“Premios\u00a0Tu\u00a0Mundo”<\/strong>\u00a0will broadcast live on\u00a0Thursday August 24, 2017 at 8pm\/7c<\/strong>\u00a0from the\u00a0AmericanAirlines\u00a0Arena in Miami, Florida, with a lead-in one-hour pre-show special\u00a0“La\u00a0Alfombra\u00a0de Premios\u00a0Tu\u00a0Mundo”<\/strong>\u00a0at 7pm\/6c. Both programs will air simultaneously on\u00a0Universo,\u00a0the fastest growing Spanish-language entertainment cable network in the U.S., and in 24 countries throughout the Americas on Telemundo Internacional.\u00a0Tickets for the awards ceremony are available at Ticketmaster.com and the AA Arena box office. <\/p>\n

This year, in partnership with\u00a0Telemundo,\u00a0iHeartRadio\u00a0will present nominees in five music categories for the 2017\u00a0Premios\u00a0Tu\u00a0Mundo<\/strong>\u00a0including\u00a0Favorite Regional Mexican Artist by\u00a0iHeartRadio<\/em>,\u00a0Favorite Pop Artist by\u00a0iHeartRadio<\/em>,\u00a0Favorite Tropical Artist by\u00a0iHeartRadio<\/em>,\u00a0Favorite Urban Artist by\u00a0iHeartRadio<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Favorite Party-Starting Song by\u00a0iHeartRadio<\/em>.\u00a0CNCO<\/strong>\u00a0led the list of musical nominees with three nominations, two of them in the musical categories including\u00a0Favorite Pop Artist by\u00a0iHeartRadio<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Party-Starting Song by\u00a0iHeartRadio,<\/em>\u00a0for their hit song “Hey DJ,” featuring Yandel. In addition, #CNCOwners\u00a0are nominated for\u00a0Fan Club of the Year<\/em>. <\/p>\n

Top acting nominees during today’s announcement were\u00a0Carlos Ponce<\/strong>\u00a0with three nods for his work on “Silvana Sin Lana” including:\u00a0Favorite Lead Actor<\/em>,\u00a0Favorite Unlucky Lead Actor<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0The Perfect Couple<\/em>\u00a0alongside Maritza Rodriguez.\u00a0Carolina\u00a0Gaitan’s<\/strong>\u00a0leading role on “Sin\u00a0Senos\u00a0Si Hay\u00a0Paraiso” earned her three nominations including:\u00a0Favorite Lead Actress<\/em>,\u00a0Favorite Unlucky Lead Actor<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0The Perfect Couple<\/em>\u00a0with Juan Pablo\u00a0Urrego. For his work on “La Do\u00f1a,”\u00a0David\u00a0Chocarro<\/strong>\u00a0also garnered three-time nominations including\u00a0Favorite Lead Actor<\/em>,\u00a0Favorite Unlucky Lead Actor<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0The Perfect Couple<\/em>\u00a0together with Aracely\u00a0Arambula.<\/p>\n
